James specialises in assisting his clients with selling companies, helping companies raise equity finance, and management buyouts. James has a passion for working with owner managers, hearing people’s stories, and understanding their businesses to find the best tailored solution for them. James has worked across several industries, specialising in manufacturing. He has a strong interest in industrials and EdTech.

‘I enjoy building strong relationships with my clients and delivering, often a once-in-a-lifetime, investment realisation event for them, alongside my colleagues. Working in a team is important to me and I believe that everyone should have equal opportunity and receive the support they need to succeed and reach their potential at our firm. For that reason, I joined the transactions' Diversity and Inclusion Team as part of a culture of allyship.’

At home, James is very social and enjoys spending time with his friends and family. James likes to relax by running, playing golf, or watching his beloved Liverpool FC (which at the moment, is not very relaxing for him!). James has two young boys and is kept busy by chasing them around on the weekend!

Favourite thing about RSM
The culture! I believe that my colleagues and I (at all levels) are very hardworking, yet very fun and caring as a group. I feel I am pushed to be the best I can be at RSM, whilst being supported along the way. I think this is reflected through our long-lasting client relationships.
