Biography
Gareth provides robust commercial and practical restructuring advice across a wide range of sectors and stakeholders.
He joined RSM as a Partner in 2015, and became regional head for restructuring in 2018. He now manages a dedicated restructuring team across Yorkshire, the North East and Scotland, all of whom have significant experience.
He is ACA and JIEB qualified and has previously worked at 3 different funders so has a strong appreciation of the funding market and its requirements. Much of Gareth’s time is spent working alongside Directors preserving and enhancing value in difficult financial circumstances.
Asked what gets him out of bed in the mornings, Gareth replies:
"My job is very fast moving and having to think on my feet, come up with solutions in pressurised situations but keep calm and measured is what I thrive on. However, what gets me up in the morning is working with a talented team to save peoples jobs wherever possible - the deals where that is achieved are immensely satisfying. "
Away from work, Gareth loves spending time with his family, hosting a family BBQ, enjoying a pint with friends or being out on the ski slope.
