Biography

Clodagh’s RSM timeline:

2010: joined RSM following the acquisition of Bristol and Bath based firm Robson Taylor
2017: promoted to Director
2020: promoted to Partner

Clodagh specialises in selling companies, raising private equity finance and management buyouts. For an owner manager selling their business, it is often a once in a lifetime event. Clodagh brings her extensive experience to owner managers to help them navigate the process and maximise value, spending the time to understand the key drivers of value in a business. Working across several sectors, Clodagh has a particular focus on software businesses, recruitment and healthcare products.

‘A transaction is a life-changing event for an entrepreneur that has spent their career taking personal risks to build a business that has served their market and their employees. I enjoy supporting entrepreneurs through a transaction to ensure they maximise their returns and find the best home for their business.’

Clodagh loves to travel, go to festivals, listen to live music and camp with her little boy. She enjoys sport and makes sure she does enough exercise to enjoy the odd corporate lunch and glass of wine. She will always put her hand up any team sporting challenges.

Favourite thing about RSM

RSM is the perfect size organisation for me. Small enough for each engagement to be very personal and large enough to have the insight and the advisory specialisms that are required for a transaction. Every colleague has the opportunity to influence how we do things, and I am surrounded by intelligent people with lots of ideas.
