Amy’s RSM timeline:

2007: qualified as a chartered accountant
2008: began working as an M&A advisor in London
2012: moved to Leeds and joined RSM's M&A team
2019: promoted to Director
2020: became Regional Champion for RSM Empower (a network focused on how we can support women in their careers)

Amy works with clients to advise on business sales, acquisitions, and management buyouts. As well as working with clients on transactions, Amy has extensive experience working with business owners in advance of a transaction to identify changes that can be made to improve the outcome on exit. Amy has experience across a variety of sectors with a particular interest in the healthcare sector.

‘An important part of my role is demystifying some of the complex issues and jargon that exists in the M&A industry. My goal is to help my clients make better informed decisions and to help them feel more comfortable with the process. The transaction is often a very significant moment in their business lives and therefore I'm passionate about making the process easier for my clients as well as getting the right results for them.’

Amy has two young children, so her weekends are largely spent finding opportunities for quality time as a family. When she gets the chance, Amy enjoys going to see live music and trips to the theatre or cinema.

Favourite thing about RSM
The people. The quality of the people we have and how that translates into excellent work for our clients makes me proud to work at RSM. Most importantly they are also great people to work and interact with, making each day more enjoyable.
